I understand needing to appoint an interim city manager we obviously do that but I'm concerned from the discussion at the agenda committee that it sounds like you've already made up your mind on who is going to be the permanent replacement.

So does this mean there's not going to be any search, we're not going to go through a series of interviews with a city manager that you're just going to move to an appointment I hope that item two on the agenda means that you're going to establish a process of evaluating candidates, not that you're going to appoint someone.
So, those are those are my comments I was really very concerned by that discussion, and by the thought that you would appoint a permanent city manager without going through process.
