Berkeley City Council to Discuss Financial Support for Berkeley Rep, Constituent Services Policy, Affordable Housing Developments, and Public Safety Initiatives The Berkeley City Council will consider granting financial support to Berkeley Repertory Theater to offset business license taxes and establishing a policy for constituent services continuity in case of councilmember absence. Agenda items include amendments to the CalPERS contract, lease agreements, and legislative platforms. The Council will discuss establishing a Black Arts and Culture District in the Adeline Corridor, a public safety plan for women, and a proposal for developing affordable housing at the West Berkeley Service Center.
