Berkeley City Council Agenda: Firehouse alerting system purchase, prevailing wage ordinance, Elmwood BID expansion, security camera installation at crime hotspots, wildfire prevention grant application, hazardous fire fuel treatment contracts, MLK Jr. House funding transfer, and urging PG&E to underground utilities. Additional items include dental services for schools, tobacco control funding, and lease agreement with nonprofit We Wield The Hammer. The Council will also discuss appointments to committees and support for ACA 4 to restore voting rights for incarcerated individuals.
