Closed-session collective bargaining negotiations with City labor negotiators and multiple employee organizations including Berkeley Fire Fighters Association Local 1227 I.A.F.F., Berkeley Chief Fire Officers Association Local 1227 I.A.F.F., Berkeley Fire EMS Professionals Association, Berkeley Police Association, SEIU 1021 Community Services and Part‑Time Recreation Activity Leaders, SEIU 1021 Maintenance and Clerical, IBEW Local 1245, Public Employee Union Local 1, and unrepresented employees; conference with legal counsel concerning existing litigation (Berkeley Homeless Union v. City of Berkeley, N.D. Cal. No. 3:25‑cv‑01414‑EMC; Prado v. City of Berkeley, N.D. Cal. No. 3:23‑cv‑04537‑EMC); and public reporting of closed‑session actions and any resulting authority or directives.
