The Berkeley City Council will discuss various agenda items, including a lease amendment for Cazadero Performing Arts Camp, a labor peace policy for the Berkeley Marina, and a grant application for hiring additional firefighters. The Council will also consider extending the Alameda County Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program, contracts for vegetation management, irrigation services, and restroom construction, and amendments for fuel storage and safety services. Budget referrals for the Berkeley Marina parking lot, bike park, and playground designs will be reviewed, along with support for AB 441 and AB 73. A project manager for the potential Alta Bates Hospital closure will be considered.
