Berkeley City Council to Discuss Support for Iranian Women, Transportation Tax, Zoning Amendments, and Fair Workweek Ordinance The Berkeley City Council will address resolutions supporting Iranian women and condemning the Iranian government's oppression, set a 2023 tax rate for transportation network companies, and amend zoning ordinances. The agenda includes expanding the Residential Preferential Parking program, regulating autonomous vehicles, and adopting an ordinance against discriminatory law enforcement reports. Council will also consider the Fair Workweek Ordinance, Hopkins Corridor Plan reconsideration, and support for Harriet Tubman Terrace tenants.
