Berkeley City Council to Discuss FY 2023 Budget, Parking Pilot, and Housing Initiatives The Berkeley City Council will consider adopting the FY 2023 Annual Appropriations Ordinance and implementing the goBerkeley SmartSpace Pilot Program for demand-responsive parking. The Council will designate voting delegates for the League of California Cities Annual Conference and approve various contract amendments for city services. Additional agenda items include joining the House America Initiative, supporting state legislative bills related to housing and energy innovation, revising police search policies, and improving city website access. A public hearing on zoning ordinance amendments and discussions on rent stabilization ballot measures are also scheduled.
