Berkeley City Council to Discuss Youth Alternatives Funding, Mental Health Services, Crisis Care Mobile Units, and Infrastructure Projects The Berkeley City Council will consider approving funding for Berkeley Youth Alternatives and mental health programs in local schools, as well as a $1 million grant for Crisis Care Mobile Units. Infrastructure projects on the agenda include storm drain and sanitary sewer improvements, and the Southside Complete Streets Project. The Council will also discuss supporting state legislative efforts, such as the Agricultural Labor Relations Voting Choice Act and the California Student Housing Revolving Loan Fund Act, and consider budget referrals for Channing Street bike improvements and South Sailing Basin dredging.
